4:25 So she went to visit ¹  the prophet at Mount Carmel. When he ²  saw her at a distance, he said to his servant Gehazi, “Look, it’s the Shunammite woman.

6:30 When the king heard what the woman said, he tore his clothes. As he was passing by on the wall, the people could see he was wearing sackcloth under his clothes. ³ 

[4:25]  ¹ tn Heb “went and came.”

[4:25]  ² tn Heb “the man of God.” The phrase has been replaced by the relative pronoun “he” in the translation for stylistic reasons.

[6:30]  ³ tn Heb “the people saw, and look, [there was] sackcloth against his skin underneath.”
